Amendments 5-8

Article #2
Title: Testimony continues for Paul White
Amendment 5-8

Jurors will hear the case against Dr. Paul White for a possible man slaughter of Micheal Jackson. Dr. Paul White will hold his defense theory, it will be challenged by prosecutors who have been laying out there case for four weeks that the Dr is greedy and corrupt.

This is reminded of amendment 5-8, the right for a public trial, right for defense, and right for a jury. The amendment also explains the right for prosecutors. These amendments are important to our daily lives by supporting democracy and not dictatorship. The rights towards defendants are important because it justifies the case, a justified case also needs jurors in order to make the decision more fair.

This is related to what we are learning in class. In class we are learning about a nation for the people, by the people. This article talking about a right to hold a testimony in court. We are also learning about democracy, this article explains the fairness in court by having a jury justify the decision. And that a defendant has rights in court by being able to have a defence theory.

I have seen this before on t.v, the case was about Casey Anthony. The case went on for weeks and they were arguing back and fourth. In the end the jury said that she was innocent and the judge couldn't change the decision. In fact a court case is very common, I see people on t.v in court ever day whether its criminal or civil. And that is how it is related to my life.

I think that court cases are really helpful to citizens. It helps us settle disputes or put justice to those who have done wrong. So basically it helps clean up our nation, without court we would be left with dictatorship and we would keep on arguing. So it is important to have a court in order to enforce laws and keep the rights to citizens.
